Product Overview
Semi Gantry Crane is a special form of gantry crane designed to make better use of existing workshop or yard structures. One side of the crane is supported by a ground leg, while the other side runs on an elevated runway system similar to an overhead crane.
This structure helps save production space compared with a full gantry crane and can reduce the need for additional building columns compared with an overhead crane. It is suitable for lifting, transporting, loading, and unloading in open-air operating sites and indoor workshops.
Semi-type gantry cranes include BMH type and BMG type. According to the lifting configuration, they can work with CD1, MD1, other electric hoists, LH hoist trolley, or QD trolley for different material handling requirements.
The crane is mainly composed of lifting mechanism and trolley, single or double main beam, support leg, end carriage, electric control box, operating system, and safety protection system.
