Product Overview

U Type Subway Slag Handling Gantry Crane is a special gantry crane designed for subway and metro construction sites. It is mainly used for lifting slag buckets, overturning excavated material, transferring pipe sheets, and handling construction materials during underground railway and tunnel construction.

The crane adopts a U-type gantry structure with main hoisting system, trolley travelling mechanism, cart travelling mechanism, hydraulic overturning mechanism, driver’s cabin, electrical system, and safety protection devices. The open U-type frame provides practical clearance for slag bucket lifting and material transfer, making it suitable for construction sites where working space, lifting direction, and discharge position need to be coordinated carefully.

For slag dumping operation, the trolley can be equipped with a hydraulic turning mechanism and slag-turning hook. The hanging beam lifts the slag bucket first, then the hydraulic system controls the turning hook to guide the bucket to the required position and complete the dumping process. This design helps improve slag handling efficiency and supports continuous construction in subway and metro projects.

The crane can be configured with windproof rail clamps, limit switches, buffers, rail sweepers, emergency power-off protection, overload protection, platforms, ladders, and driver’s cabin according to project requirements.
