Description
Shipyard Gantry Crane is designed for shipyards, docks, slipways, and shipbuilding platforms. It is mainly used for transporting large ship structures, installing ship equipment, moving raw materials, and supporting ship assembly or repair operations.
Because shipbuilding operations usually require large spans and heavy lifting capacity, the gantry structure can be designed with one rigid leg and one flexible leg. This structure helps the crane adapt to large-span shipyard lifting conditions while maintaining stable operation.
The crane can be equipped with upper and lower trolleys. The upper and lower trolleys run on their own tracks, and the lower trolley can pass beneath the upper trolley. A horizontal trolley can also move along the main beam track, allowing flexible lifting, section turning, and positioning operations during ship construction.
