Giving Back: Henan Mine Spreads Holiday Cheer to 270 Local Seniors

Right before the Chinese New Year (on February 6th), our founder and Party Secretary, Cui Peijun, took some time to visit the villages surrounding Henan Mine. This wasn’t just a formal visit; it was about checking in on our neighbors and making sure the local seniors had everything they needed for a warm holiday.

Bringing the holiday spirit (and plenty of pork!) to the neighborhood

We didn’t show up empty-handed. For the 270 seniors aged 65 and up, we prepared a little “holiday kit” to help them celebrate. Each person received:

  • 500 RMB in cash (a little extra for the festivities).

  • 10 jin of pork (a holiday essential!).

  • A bag of millet and a bag of sticky flour.

It was great to see everyone’s faces light up as the red envelopes and supplies were handed out. In our local culture, these aren’t just groceries—they’re a way of saying “we care about you.”

“Giving Back to the Roots”: Our Philosophy

During the visit, Mr. Cui sat down with the seniors to chat about how things are going in the village. He’s always been firm on one thing: a company’s success belongs to the community as much as it does to the employees.

He mentioned that “giving back to the hometown” is a core responsibility for Henan Mine. We want the people in our neighborhood to feel the warmth of our growth and share in the benefits of what we’ve built together. It’s all about creating a harmonious, “good life” for everyone in the area.

Keeping the tradition of “Filial Piety” alive

At Henan Mine, we talk a lot about “Filial Piety” (respecting our elders). It’s a huge part of our corporate DNA. By doing these regular check-ins and providing real, tangible support, we’re doing our part to help with rural revitalization and keep these traditional values alive.

Even in the middle of a cold winter, seeing the community come together like this reminds us why we do what we do.

Stronger together, one village at a time

At the end of the day, we’re more than just a machinery company; we’re a part of this community. We’re committed to keeping this “Culture of Kindness” going and making sure that as we grow, our neighbors grow with us.

Happy New Year to all our friends and neighbors!
